Do You Want to Remain in Your Current Industry?

If you want to stay in your current industry, get out your resume and get to work. You need to polish it up. It may make sense to pay someone to do it for you. But you will need to do SOME updating yourself. There are plenty of services and plenty of books that you can get for Resume writing, I will post some of the better ones soon.
Now you have to network. Talk to everyone and anyone, let them know that you are looking for a job and ask them if you can use them as a reference. Find out if their are any conferences in the area that are targeting your current industry. Sign up and go.
BE POSITIVE. Don't complain about your former company and don't belittle any of your colleagues that remained. No body wants to hire someone a negative person, much less someone who is going to be bitter and complain about their last employer.
Positive, up-beat employess are considered confident and actionable. Consider your experience a valuable lesson on how to you would react to a crisis (losing your job).
